With no points awarded across either round, the championship standings remain exactly as they were following Round Five, keeping every class battle alive as the season heads towards its final rounds.

Following the cancellations of Rounds Six and Seven, competitors were eager to get back behind the wheel and continue their championship campaigns. The day's competition featured three completely different course layouts, with drivers completing three timed runs on each before the course was changed, testing their ability to quickly adapt as the day progressed.

Alongside the championship event, competitors also took part in the Terminus Challenge. After completing their opening run on each track layout, drivers were required to predict the time they would record on their second run of the same layout. While outright speed plays no part in determining the winner, consistency and precision are rewarded, with the results remaining secret until the club's Presentation Night later this year.

Returning for his first championship event of the season in a new car, Greg Jaeschke proved to be the benchmark from the outset. Despite still getting acquainted with the new machine, he put together an impressive day of driving to secure outright honours with a total time of 15:52.383. Rick Graves continued his strong run of form to finish second outright, with Justin Aylett rounding out the podium.
